1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to CortexaPro AI. By accessing or using our AI Studio platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

CortexaPro AI provides an artificial intelligence platform for building, deploying, and managing AI agents and chatbots. These Terms govern your use of all features including but not limited to: AI Agent Builder, Knowledge Base Management, Power Agent, and API access.

2. Account Registration & Security

• You must provide accurate, complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services

3. Billing, Credits & Payments

• Credit System: Our platform operates on a credit-based model where 1 credit = 1,000 tokens of AI processing
• Monthly Plans: Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over unless specified in your plan
• Credit Top-ups: Additional credits may be purchased at prevailing rates ($1 = 100 credits for most plans)
• Refunds: Credits are non-refundable once allocated. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle
• Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and PayPal. All payments are processed securely
• Taxes: Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout

4. Data Usage & Privacy

• Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform
• Data Processing: We process your data solely to provide our services. We do not use your data to train general AI models
• Data Storage: Your data is stored securely in our cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
• Data Deletion: Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless legal retention is required
• Third-Party AI: Our platform may use third-party AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) which have their own data policies

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use CortexaPro AI to:

• Generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or discriminatory content
• Engage in fraud, impersonation, or deceptive practices
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise our systems
• Create AI agents that provide medical, legal, or financial advice without proper disclaimers
• Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORTEXAPRO AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before use.

7. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease immediately
• You may export your data before account termination
• Sections regarding liability, indemnification, and disputes survive termination

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
